Eldorado Middle School has been recognized as a Best Middle School by U.S. News & World Report, highlighting the academic achievement of its students and the dedication of its teachers and staff.
U.S. News evaluates public middle schools at the state level using student proficiency in mathematics and reading/language arts on state assessments. Its methodology considers both overall achievement and performance in the context of students’ socioeconomic backgrounds, offering families another way to understand how schools are serving their students.
“We are proud of our Eldorado Middle School students, teachers, and staff for earning this recognition,” said Cody Cusic, superintendent of Eldorado CUSD #4. “Behind this honor are teachers who believe in our students, staff members who support them, and students who are putting in the work. It also reflects the partnership we have with our families and community. Great things are happening in our classrooms, and this is an opportunity to celebrate the people making that possible.”
The recognition highlights achievement in core academic subjects during a critical stage in students’ education. Middle school helps students strengthen the knowledge, confidence, and habits they will carry into high school and beyond.
“Our goal is to help every student grow and prepare for what comes next,” Cusic added. “We will celebrate this accomplishment while continuing to challenge our students, support their individual needs, and build on the good work happening at EMS.”
Eldorado CUSD #4 congratulates the entire Eldorado Middle School community on this honor and thanks its families and community members for their continued support.
